Red Lion Football

    Charlie graduated from Eastern High School in 1979, attended York College of Pennsylvania for Political Science and Duquesne University for Contract Law.  He played his High School football at Eastern York High School.
    Charlie coached at Central York School District for 27 years; his duties included Head Freshmen Coach, Varsity Assistant; coaching Linebackers, Defensive Line, Secondary, running back and quarterback coach; his last 4 years at Central he was the Defensive Coordinator.  He also spent 6 years at York Suburban moving over there from Central to Coach his son (Pelle) for 3 years and then spending 3 additional years prior to returning to Central.  His duty there included Linebacker Coach, and was Defensive Coordinator for 2 years and 1 year as the Offensive Coordinator.  This is his first year at Red Lion! (GO LIONS)
    Charlie lives with his wife Dierdre in the Central York school district with their daughter Caitlin.  They also have two other children Pelle who is married to Erica and Marci.  Charlie and Dierdre also are the proud Grandparents to Mason Charles, and Sydney Jo.
